LinkedIn is a widely used social platform that allows users to make professional connections, recruit employees and find new careers. LinkedIn is extremely efficient because not only do they have a website and a mobile app, they have an additional mobile app specific to their Job Board, LinkedIn Recruiter. They also have recently released, LinkedIn Learning, that offers video courses taught by industry experts in software, creative, and business skills. Here are 5 reasons why you need to be on LinkedIn!
This means virtually an unlimited supply of network connections and job opportunities. Whether you are seeking a new career, new employees, or simply building your brand, LinkedIn is a must for professionals.
Similar to other social networks, LinkedIn puts together a timeline for you. When you log in, you can see a combination of news and updates from your connections, your groups and your business. LinkedIn is another way to stay in the loop of your industry, as well as make business connections.
Did you tune into our Mastermind Webinar on February 6th, where we covered how to recruit and train employees? If not, check it out here! Utilizing LinkedIn’s Job Board was one of Jeff Fabian’s tips for recruiting employees. You can search employees by location, age, experience, current and past job titles, and much more! You can send potential recruit’s direct messages as well. Want to be really efficient with your recruiting process, take advantage of LinkedIn. You can also utilize LinkedIn’s Job Board from the opposite angle, searching job posts and company pages to find a new career.
LinkedIn offers a great platform for you to build your brand even further. Facebook and Instagram are fantastic tools to generate leads, but more compelling fact about LinkedIn is that it’s built for professionals. You can work on setting your brand apart from others in your industry, as well as what makes you marketable for your space.
